ROD…THE SHOW!!! CELEBRATING THE MUSIC & LEGACY OF ROD STEWART featuring ROB CAUDILL, CARMINE APPICE and KATJA RIECKERMANN – DANCE FLOOR IS OPEN!!!
February 14 @ 8:00 pm
ROD – THE SHOW brings the complete Rod Stewart concert experience to life for fans, complete with the look, sound the stories and energy of the legendary rocker. ROD – THE SHOW is NOT A TRIBUTE band performance. Rather, it is a review of Rod’s musical legacy using some of the musicians who worked closely with Rod for a combined span of 21 years. It is a combination of music and remembrances about life on the road and in the studio with Rod and includes historical video footage.
Rob Caudill is a popular, world-renowned performer for over 20 years known for his spot-on singing and stage presentation of rock legend Rod Stewart. Starring in his old show “Tonight’s the Night,” Caudill perfectly captures nearly every aspect of the legendary British personality: the distinctive raspy voice; the trademark look (spiky hair, jawline), and energetic stage presence, (including kicking soccer balls and spinning mic stand). Caudill incorporates all this while performing such monster hits as “Maggie May,” “Forever Young” “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” and countless others.
Along Caudill, the show includes drummer extraordinaire, background singer, and songwriter Carmine Appice a staple member in the Rod Stewart band from 1976 – 1982. Appice also co-wrote ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?’ and ‘Young Turks and was a contributor to the arrangement of many of Stewart’s hits. Saxophonist Katja Rieckermann (who played in Rod Stewart’s band for 14 years) recreates the iconic horn parts she contributed to Stewart in this show, as well.
