Entertainment Announced for Little Italy Festa – Taylor Street

Entertainment announced for Little Italy Festa – Taylor Street

Onesti Entertainment has announced a lineup of 40+ entertainers for their Little Italy Festa – Taylor Street.  The festival, running from Thursday, August 11th to Sunday, August 14th, at the intersection of Taylor Street and Ashland Avenue, is returning after a 2-year hiatus.  The festival will also feature 20+ Chicagoland restaurants.

Onesti Entertainment, a powerhouse in the entertainment industry with music venues in St. Charles and Des Plaines, has booked a remarkable entertainment lineup on FIVE music stages. Entertainer highlights include performances by Las Vegas’s The Bronx Wanderers, WGN’s Pat Tomasulo, Haley Reinhart of American Idol and Postmodern Jukebox, Former drummer of CHICAGO Danny Seraphine with CTA performing the hits of CHICAGO, and ABC TV’s Ryan Chiaverini.

Ron Onesti, President and CEO of Onesti Entertainment, stated “This is absolutely one of my favorite events each year.  To see tens of thousands of people, over the course of four days, on Taylor Street brings back memories of my childhood.  I am honored to present this event in cooperation with the Little Italy Chicago Neighborhood Association.  I encourage everyone to come enjoy the sights and sounds of our Italian culture and support our restaurant and merchandise partners.  I think this might just be the best lineup we’ve ever had!”

Little Italy Festa – Taylor Street will also host over 20 local restaurants and several merchandise vendors that will line the streets with crowd pleasing favorites including pizza, fried dough, mouth-watering pasta dishes, meatballs, Italian ice, arancini, gelato, and so much more.  From drinks to desserts, the festival will have tasty treats for the whole family.

Hours of operation are Thursday and Friday from 5pm to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12noon to 10pm.  Admission is free, but there will be a $10 suggested donation at the door.  “People need to understand the costs of putting an event of this magnitude on,” said Onesti.  “Insurance, tents, labor, entertainer fees, etc., have all skyrocketed.  We hope guests will remember that at the door!”

All entertainers and restaurants participating in the festival are available for media interviews.  All requests should be made to Dana Petrie at dana@oshows.com.
