Taylor Street Little Italy Festa to kick-off Thursday 8/17 through Sunday 8/20

The Taylor Street Little Italy Festa is returning to Chicago!  Thursday, August 17 thru Sunday, August 20, 2023, on Taylor Street between Ashland Avenue just past Loomis Street in Chicago.

“Excited is not a strong enough word,” said Ron Onesti, President of The Onesti Entertainment Corp., the company that produces the event in conjunction with the Little Italy Chicago Neighborhood Association.  “After returning last year with record-setting crowds, this classic Chicago Street festival will surely make this year’s edition a huge and electric experience,” Onesti said.

Admission is free, but there will be a $10 suggested donation at the door.  “People need to understand the costs of putting an event of this magnitude on,” said Onesti.  Insurance, tents, labor, entertainer fees, etc., have all skyrocketed.  We hope guests will remember that at the door!”

There will be food booths representing some of the most popular restaurants in the Chicagoland area.  The quality of food at Taylor Street Little Italy Festa is unmatched at any other street festival!  Several stages of entertainment will include Phat Cat Swinger – an 11-piece band that is a Disneyland and Hollywood celeb favorite, The Bronx Wanderers from Las Vegas, and performers coming from Italy.  Cultural exhibits, a variety of attractions, cooking demos, children’s activities, crafts, Italian merchandise and many other activities will also be available.
