The New Wishbone Ash ‘Wishlist’ CD is made up of songs selected by the fans! It will be available only at shows on the upcoming worldwide Wishlist Tour, including the Wishbone Ash show coming up at the Arcada Theatre on Friday, November 22.

Using Set.Fan, and their social media platforms, the band has assembled the most requested songs spanning more than 50 years of Wishbone Ash and curated for the Wishlist CD. These songs and other top requests will also form dynamic set lists for an ongoing tour beginning in the US in 2024 and worldwide through 2025 and 2026. 

“I love the interactive element of this” says Andy Powell, founding guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. “We have so many chapters, line-ups and flavors in our music. There’s more than 250 songs, and we continue to write new ones. It’s been fun to let the fans decide.”

“It is is so cool to see so many young people at our shows” Powell says. “Many discover us through the current vinyl craze, or from a seasoned parent or friend. In Europe, young people sometimes make up half the audience now.” 

In addition to the interactive Wishlist Tour and CD, the band has the BBC Sessions box set titled Surface To Air slated for release, a coffee table book titled No Easy Road, comprising of classic rock photography and in depth interviews, plus a new limited run of custom Andy Powell Flying V guitars ( the instrument he made famous) crafted by Tatalias Guitars of Brookfield Connecticut. With Wishbone Ash the story is always moving forward. For example, a new DVD is currently in production. Recorded in Germany during 2024 and titled Live in Cologne it will be on release in early 2025. Continual touring keeps the band in top shape and with new territories always on the horizon, new music is sure to follow.
