MAY 15, 2025 – The Wishbone Ash Wishlist Tour in the US was a resounding success
for the band at the end of 2024.
“This has been a great adventure for the fans and for the band,” says leader Andy
Powell. “Performing songs that our audiences have chosen gives a refreshing
interactive feeling to it all, a renewed sense of purpose and direction for the live
experience.’’
After electrifying sold out shows across Germany, France, the Nordics, Netherlands and
Turkey during the first half of this year, this legendary rock band continues its global
momentum with their triumphant Wishlist Tour – November 2025 and March 2026.
The band will be performing on the “On The Blue Cruise” from Boston through Canada’s
Eastern Seaboard August 22-29, then touring the Northeast and Midwest November 06
thru 30, followed by the “Cruise to the Edge” March 4-9 of 2026 with tour dates through
Florida and throughout the Eastern Coast.
“We love our audiences everywhere we tour, but Americans are often the most
enthusiastic,” Powell continues. “It’s a genuine fan community. We see many old
friends each year, but lots of new fans too, including some quite young folks who might
have discovered us through vinyl, or parents, family or friends.”
To celebrate the tour Wishbone Ash has released a special edition Wishlist CD –
available exclusively at live shows. Through fan engagement on Set.Fan.com and
across social media, the band has compiled the most requested tracks to shape the
ever-evolving set list. The Wish List CD features live renditions of the songs chosen by
the fans themselves.
Powell continues, “With over 250 songs in our catalog – and new ones always in the
works – it’s exciting to let the fans decide what they want to hear.”
