ROCK ‘N RAVIOLI: FRANK FERRANTE’S GROUCHO
August 21 @ 8:30 pm
Dubbed “nothing short of masterful” by the Chicago Tribune, award-winning actor Frank Ferrante brings to life his acclaimed portrayal of the legendary Groucho Marx—seen on PBS and on stages in New York and London—in this fast-paced, 90-minute comedic tour de force. This two-act comedy is packed with Groucho’s best one-liners, classic songs like “Hooray for Captain Spalding” and “Lydia, the Tattooed Lady,” and countless hilarious anecdotes. The audience becomes part of the fun as Ferrante improvises throughout, channeling Groucho’s razor-sharp wit and charm. Accompanied by his onstage pianist, Ferrante captures the spirit of the young Groucho from stage and film, while playfully conjuring the world of the Marx Brothers—Harpo, Chico, Zeppo, and Gummo—as well as classic icons like Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields, and Marx’s beloved foil, Margaret Dumont. A fast, funny, and interactive experience—perfect for audiences of all ages. Doors open at 5PM | Show begins at 8:30PM
