1126 Entertainment and Onesti Entertainment are back with another great opportunity for local bands to get involved in a friendly battle-of-the-bands competition for an excellent prize package. This is an excellent chance for you to experience some of the best local talent out there and support your local music scene, all for no charge to the public!
The contest goes as follows: each week for five weeks, six different bands each week will play a song or two to showcase their abilities. Based on the judgment criteria (originality, musicianship, stage presence, band cohesiveness, crowd enjoyment, etc.), one act each night will be chosen as the victor. After the five weeks, all five winners will compete in a finale show where one act will be selected as the over all champion! That act will reap the benefits of this excellent prize package:
– A professional photo/video shoot!
– Ten hours of recording time at Gremlin Studios in Aurora, IL!
– Your own show at The Arcada Theatre (third floor stage)!
– the opportunity to open for a nationally-touring band!
