$1 FILM SERIES – “THE NEVERENDING STORY”

The Des Plaines Theatre is pleased to announce our weekly $1 Film Series. Join us for some family fun as we feature “The NeverEnding Story” on our huge video wall. Concessions will be available for purchase. Doors will open at 6PM | Movie will begin at 7PM.
No tickets or reservations needed. Simply pay your $1 at the door. All seating is General Admission.
PLOT: Bastian is a young boy who lives a dreary life being tormented by school bullies. On one such occasion he escapes into a book shop where the old proprietor reveals an ancient storybook to him, which he is warned can be dangerous. Shortly after, he “borrows” the book and begins to read it in the school attic where he is drawn into the mythical land of Fantasia, which desperately needs a hero to save it from destruction.
