BOURBON ‘N BRASS SPEAKEASY: LIVE JAZZ with MICHAEL ROSS

Join us in our intimate Bourbon ‘N Brass Speakeasy, located on the 2nd floor of the Des Plaines Theatre, for an evening of Jazz with Michael Ross! Food and hand-crafted cocktails are available for purchase. There is a $10 entertainment fee which helps us pay the performer. No RSVP required.  Seating is first-come, first-seated.  We kindly ask for a two-drink or equivalent minimum.  Doors will open at 6:30PM – Music will begin at 8:30PM.

Michael Ross, a native of Chicago, IL. was encouraged at an early age to take private guitar lessons at the Chicago School of Music. While advancing his studies in music at Loop Jr. College and Chicago Conservatory of Music, Michael performed at several of Chicago’s local jazz clubs. He soon later became the staff guitarist for the first New York Broadway National Touring Company’s production of “The Wiz,” that toured across the United States. Michael’s sound is true to the heart – filled with emotions, style, technique. His creative abilities allow him to compose his own original music, which allows him to tell a story – going beyond normal boundaries and giving his listeners only the best!!! Michael’s style and artistry have enabled him to perform with a number of great artists, that included Ramsey Lewis, Najee, Ronnie Laws, Angela Bofill, and Jonathan Butler, Maysa, Candy Dulfer, Hank Crawford, Jimmy McGriff, Wayne Newton.
